JCamp 180 is dedicated to partnering with other organizations in the field to help advance our mission. Some key partnerships include:

National Strategic Partnerships

Foundation for Jewish Camp (FJC) - Foundation for Jewish Camp is the leader in supporting nonprofit Jewish overnight camp in North America. " Foundation for Jewish Camp unifies and galvanizes the field of Jewish overnight camp and significantly increases the number of children participating in transformative summers at Jewish camp, assuring a vibrant North American Jewish community." The Grinspoon Institute for Jewish Philanthropy works with the FJC to ensure the vitality and growth of nonprofit Jewish overnight camp. www.jewishcamp.org.

 

Areivim - Areivim has created a "Fund for the Jewish Future" to support initiatives that transform formal and informal Jewish Education. Areivim provides financial support for the Camp Legacy Initiative; this includes funding Legacy bonuses and consulting effort.

 

AVI CHAI Foundation - The AVI CHAI Foundation's mission is to "To encourage those of the Jewish faith towards greater commitment to Jewish observance and lifestyle by increasing their understanding, appreciation and practice of Jewish traditions, customs and laws." JCamp 180 works with Avi Chai on various projects to advance the fields of nonprofit Jewish overnight camping and Jewish day schools. www.avi-chai.org

 

National Camp Movements

Habonim Dror Camping Association (HDCA) - HDCA is the camping arm of Habonim Dror North America - the Labor Zionist Youth Movement. The Grinspoon Institute for Jewish Philanthropy works closely with both the national movement and the individual Habonim Dror camps, offering consulting services and matching grants to help them become vibrant, self-sustaining organizations. https://www.habonimdror.org/about-us/hdca

 

JCC Association (JCCA) - The JCC Association is the continental umbrella organization for the Jewish Community Center Movement, which includes more than 350 JCCs, YM-YWHAs, and camp sites in the U.S. and Canada. JCamp 180 is partnering with the JCCA to enhance the relationship between the JCCs, their resident camps and their day camps. Ramah Camping Movement (Ramah National Commission) - The Ramah Camping Movement is the camping arm of Conservative Judaism. JCamp 180 works closely with both the national movement and the individual Ramah camps, offering consulting services and matching grants to help them become vibrant, self-sustaining organizations. www.campramah.org

 

Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) Camp and Israel Programs - URJ Camp and Israel Programs are the camping arm of Reform Judaism. JCamp 180 works closely with both the national movement and the individual URJ camps, offering consulting services and matching grants to help them become vibrant, self-sustaining organizations. www.urjcamps.org
